“Asia’s Superstar” Kathryn Bernardo officially joined the ranks of global celebrities immortalized by Madame Tussauds Hong Kong after the world-renowned wax museum unveiled her very own wax figure.
The unveiling took place during a special event at a mall in Makati City on July 9, where fans, members of the media, and invited guests gathered to witness the reveal of the actress’s lifelike “Kath-twin.”
The wax figure was inspired by Bernardo’s elegant appearance at the Seoul International Drama Awards in South Korea, where she received the “Outstanding Asian Star Award.”
Fans attending the event were given the opportunity to meet the actress in person and pose with her wax figure before it is transported to its permanent home at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
Kathryn is the fourth Filipino personality to receive the honor, following Pia Wurtzbach, Manny Pacquiao, and Anne Curtis.
The blockbuster actress is set to make her television comeback in Someone, Someday alongside James Reid and Maja Salvador. The series premieres on July 27 on ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live. It will also be available for streaming on iWant and Netflix.
